Life is a roller coaster ride, isn’t it? I think I speak for all of us because we all face similar challenges. Beyond all the lessons we need to learn, we’re also getting a little older each day, and since I turned 40, I can really see that when I look in the mirror. But what am I going to do about it? Mope? Complain? Or stop looking in the mirror? After all the beautiful years of youth, this is my next phase. And as much as I embrace my inner self, feel good in my skin, and feel confident, the outside is part of it too, kind of like Yin and Yang. And because, of course, whenever you see a woman in her underwear in the media, it’s usually young, firm, and full bodies, you might start doubting your own body at 50, 60, maybe even 40. This is mine. To be honest, if I worked out a bit more, everything would look a bit better (or firmer). But that’s a choice, and it’s been on my list for a long time. To choose or not to choose.

A brand that represents women of all ages, sizes, shapes, and colors is @understatement_underwear I get so incredibly happy when I look at their website to pick out a set. Isn’t it really a shame that we, as women, have had to wait so long to see ourselves represented at all ages by brands? But thankfully, there are now brands that truly do this—just as we are.
